The ZZ-R 1400, sold in this period as the Ninja ZX-14R, is Kawasaki's flagship full-fairing supersport machine, aimed at high-speed road riding and drag racing. It uses a 1441 cc four-cylinder with ram air, a three-mode traction control system and a power mode that can reduce output. The aluminium monocoque frame, inverted front fork with Brembo monobloc brakes and standard ABS complete the sport-focused chassis.
